🌟We originally started operating on 15/02/2018. Reflecting the date in the month my nan (Annie McDonagh) was born. Our first ever clients were based in my University town, which created the opportunity for a further three new domestic cleaning contracts in London. This was an exciting moment being where I actually chose to locate the business. We still clean weekly for our first ever clients as we value long-lasting relationships.
🌟Annie’s Mobile Cleaning Service started with just me and my Mother, Judith McDonagh: the perfect duo (although we had our fair share of disagreements this was an extremely enjoyable venture for us both and we valued the quality time together). We would travel in the car together going to different jobs. In the summer of 2018 we saw a massive boom in the need for end of tenancy cleaning services being booked and that was when I realised our cleaning service could really go places as a company.
🌟Annie was my Grandmother and the business was formed to build a legacy in her name. This means the passion incorporated into the daily operations is reflected throughout the entire team. Despite the challenges, when times get tough we revert back to fundamental family values, to lift our spirits, which are the principles of this company.
🌟 When I chose our landline number 02082438815 I wanted it to include important numbers: “43” the year my nan was born and “15” the date she was born. (15/11/1943)
🌟 Annie's Mobile Cleaning Service became a Private Limited Company on 1st May 2019 which made the company Director (Me!) only 20 years of age at the time, which was a very proud moment for my parents at the same time as running the company I have been studying a university degree in Psychology (BSc).
Today we celebrate three amazing years in business, we wish to take this opportunity to thank you dearly for your continued support throughout the duration, especially over this last year which has been very uncertain for many companies. Annie's Mobile Cleaning Service would not be where we are today without each and every one of you. Thank you for being a loyal client. Special thanks for considering us and choosing us! We are truly grateful to you for choosing us as your cleaning provider and giving us the opportunity to grow. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate you. Here's a video taking a look at how we started and how its going, we hope to continue serving you to the exceptional standard that we are known for.
We anticipated 2021 would offer a glimmer of hope and a way forward from the difficult year of 2020, and it still can. It is important to stay calm and optimistic in the face of adversity whilst reinforcing this message to our loved ones. We are wishing each and everyone of you a prosperous start to the New Year!
Our commitment to you continues in 2021
On behalf of myself and Judith, we personally thank you for your continued loyal custom. The pandemic has affected all aspects of people’s lives, both in and outside of work. Without our incredible staff’s commitment and determination to do their very best in the cleaning services we offer. As well as the support of our clients, we as a company would be in a different position right now. We are very grateful to all our clients and staff.
None of us know what 2021 will bring, but we wish that it is a happy and healthy year for us all. We send our very best wishes to you and yours 😊 Continue to stay safe and take care as we embrace the new year!
According to Government guidance, cleaners are permitted to continue working whilst the three tiered COVID alert level system is in place, throughout the local areas. Our cleaning operatives are exempt from the 'rule of six', and we can go into a household without breaching the limit due to us being there to work.
We provide specialist Deep Cleaning and Antiviral Disinfection services for our domestic and commercial clients. Please see our latest COVID-19 update. Call us for more information should you have any questions/queries: 0208 243 8815.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the decision to suspend services that would put the health and wellbeing of clients and staff at risk during March - April 2020. Although this continues to be a difficult and trying time for many, there is a sense of optimism in the air as the government set out the phased reduction of the UK lockdown. In their latest publication, The British Government has stated that: “a tradesperson carrying out essential repairs and maintenance in people’s homes or who are carrying out other work in a home such as cleaning” are allowed to work providing that they are well and have no symptoms.
This is very good news for Annie’s Mobile Cleaning service and as such we are pleased to be able to resume all Domestic and Commercial cleaning today, as of Monday June 1st 2020.
Special Thank You to NHS Workers
Working on the frontline is challenging. We wish to thank all critical staff working during this period. Our hearts are with NHS staff for their compassion, determination and self-sacrifice, whilst keeping the country moving throughout the crisis. To show a token of our gratitude, we have decided to offer 2hrs of Free Domestic Cleaning from 1st June 2020 - 30th August 2020. We hope the AMAZING staff can enjoy their clean homes, being less busy and more well-rested, on their days off in the hard months ahead of us.

Our Latest Update on COVID-19 can be found here
Dear valued clients,
Firstly I hope you are doing well, staying safe and healthy. Our current climate is concerning and it is important we remain calm and support each other.
As the need to ensure social distancing increases, we have taken the decision to temporarily pause regular domestic cleaning bookings. This involves our cleaners going into several different homes throughout the day, which is not encouraged during the pandemic. The information we are receiving, as you are aware, is constantly changing and we will keep you well informed, when our hardworking team will be able to start cleaning again.
Happy Easter. Thank you for choosing and trusting us.
Warm wishes on Easter to all our clients and their families. May this pious day bring along positive energies and great joys in your life.
You have been very supportive and we are very grateful. We hope to have a continued strong relationship with you.
Enjoy this holiday season and may the spring bring lots of hope for the future, peace and prosperity into the world. As a community we need this now, more than ever at this difficult time.
Do you have a garden?
The Easter weekend is a slightly different one this year with us ‘staying at home’, but don’t let that stop you from having fun in the garden!
Here are 5 things you can do in the garden with your family to make the most of the warm weather:
1. Garden Easter egg hunt
If you have young children or just want to have fun as a couple, hide chocolate eggs in the garden for others to find. Make sure you remember where you’ve hidden them, as you don't want them to melt! Come up with some great places to hide your Easter eggs and indulge in the treat once found.
2. Garden Sports games
Staying active and healthy whilst at home is very important. Sports games in the Garden is a great way to keep fit. Some ideas include: Badminton or tennis, football, catch, Bowls or bowling, Twister and Paddling pool aerobics. There are lots more fun games you can play in the garden, if you come up with any more let us know on our social media.
